Reactor

 

Reactor is a vessel in which chemical reactions take place.  Chemical reactors have diverse sizes, shapes, and modes and conditions of operation based on the nature ofthe reactionsystem and its behavior as a function of temperature, pressure, catalyst properties, and other factors.
